Welcome to HIDE n SEEK. We're glad you've chosen to stay with us and we want your time in one of our hides to be as easy as possible.

Please take a minute to read these terms. They cover using this website and booking a stay with us, and they're here to keep things clear and fair for everybody.

1. Who we are

HIDE n SEEK is a trading name of Go Hide Ltd, company number 17492134, registered office 26 Dome Hill, Caterham, CR3 6EA. HIDE n SEEK is a collection of off-grid cabins (which we call hides) across the English countryside. When you book, your contract is with Go Hide Ltd.

2. Using this website

Please use our website for lawful purposes only. Don't use it in any way that's unlawful or harmful, or that could damage, disable or impair the site, and don't try to get unauthorised access to any part of it or the systems behind it.

3. Booking and payment

• Bookings are made directly with us through our booking system.
• We take a 50% deposit at the time of booking to secure it.
• The remaining 50% is due 14 days before you arrive. If we don't have full payment by then, we may have to release your booking to somebody else.
• All prices include VAT where it applies.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Plans change. If you need to cancel, just email us.

We'd strongly recommend travel insurance to cover you for anything you can't see coming.

5. Changes to your booking

If we need to change it. Very occasionally we might have to move a booking. If that happens we'll offer you other dates or another hide, and if neither works we'll refund you in full. Same goes for the rare double booking.

If you need to change it. Get in touch as early as you can and we'll do what we can, subject to availability.

6. Arriving and leaving

• Check-in is from 3pm.
• Check-out is by 10am, except at our Canterbury and South Downs hides, where you have until 11am.

7. Who can stay

• Each hide sleeps two adults.
• Children aren't permitted.
• Extra guests beyond the number confirmed on your booking aren't allowed on site and may mean we end your stay without a refund.

8. Dogs

We love dogs. You're welcome to bring one well-behaved dog with you.

What we need from you:

• Pay the pet fee when you book.
• Keep your dog under control at all times.
• Use the stake and lead provided at every hide, so your dog stays near the cabin and isn't disturbing wildlife or livestock.
• Clean up after them.
• Keep them off the furniture and the bed.
• Take responsibility for any damage they cause.

9. Looking after the hide

• Please treat it as you'd want to find it. You're responsible for any damage during your stay.
• If something breaks or goes wrong, tell us straight away and we'll sort it out together.
• We may need to charge for damage, excessive mess or missing items.
• We can't accept liability for personal injury, or for loss of or damage to your belongings.

10. Being a good neighbour

Our hides sit in quiet places and we'd like to keep them that way. While you're with us, please:

• Be kind to neighbours and other guests.
• Keep noise down between 10pm and 8am.
• Follow the Countryside Code. Close gates, stick to paths, leave no trace.
• Take your rubbish with you, or recycle it where you can.
• Go gently with the wildlife and the plants.
• No parties, no loud music, no antisocial behaviour.

We reserve the right to ask guests to leave without a refund if behaviour is disturbing other people or damaging the site.

11. Safety

Please follow the safety guidance we give you, particularly around the wood burner and around BBQs and fire pits.

Drive carefully on the farm tracks and keep an eye out for livestock. You're in the countryside, so there's uneven ground, open water and wildlife about. Take care and enjoy it.

Everything at the hide is there for you to use at your own risk. We can't be held responsible for injuries or lost belongings during your stay.

12. Club membership

When you book, you automatically become a member of the Off-Grid Nature Club. The club holds an exemption certificate from Natural England, which lets its members stay at the sites it certifies.

• Membership comes with your booking at no extra cost.
• As a member, you agree to the club's code of conduct and privacy terms, which you can find at www.offgridnatureclub.co.uk.
• We share your booking and personal details with Off-Grid Nature Club, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

13. Marketing

• You'll only get marketing emails from us if you've opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
• The club may contact you about your membership and site access separately.

14. Things outside anybody's control

Sometimes things happen that none of us can do anything about, like extreme weather, natural disasters or government restrictions. If we can't fulfil your booking because of something like that, we're not liable. Travel and cancellation insurance is the sensible protection here.

15. Information on this website

We take reasonable steps to keep everything on this site accurate and current, including photography, amenities and pricing. Occasionally something changes ahead of a stay, and where it does we'll tell you as soon as we can.

16. Intellectual property

Everything on this website, including the text, design, logos and images, is owned by or licensed to HIDE n SEEK. Please don't reproduce, distribute or use any of it without our written permission first.

17. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, HIDE n SEEK isn't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

18. Links to other websites

Our site may link to other websites. We're not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link isn't an endorsement.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Carrying on using the website after a change means you accept the updated version.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
