Yes, a deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is typically due closer to your arrival date. Full payment details are shown during the booking process.
Most of our cabins have a minimum stay of 2 nights. During peak periods such as school holidays and bank holidays, a longer minimum stay may apply. Check the individual cabin page for details.
Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible depending on availability. We recommend checking the calendar on the cabin's page or contacting us directly if you'd like to book at short notice.
If you cancel more than 7 days before arrival, you'll get a full refund minus a £25 admin fee. Inside 7 days, we're unable to offer a refund. We'd strongly recommend travel insurance to cover you for anything unexpected.
Date changes may be possible subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to amend your booking and we'll do our best to help.

Yes, free private parking is available at all of our cabins. As our cabins are off-grid, EV charging is not available on site.
Yes — you're welcome to bring one well-behaved dog, for a small pet fee at the time of booking. Each cabin has a stake and lead provided so your dog can stay close by outside without disturbing wildlife or livestock, and we just ask that they're kept off the furniture and the bed.
Each cabin sleeps 2 adults. We're not able to accommodate children — our cabins are designed as an adults-only escape.
Mornings feel slower — lighting the wood burner, making coffee on the hob, and probably an earlier night than usual. Power and water are finite, which makes you think about what you actually need, and most guests find that satisfying rather than limiting. With no WiFi, expect real conversation, the book you've been meaning to read, and early nights.
Not much. Every cabin comes with the cooking essentials you'd expect — including a stovetop espresso maker and cafetière — basic ingredients like salt, pepper, olive oil and herbs, and eco-friendly soap and shampoo. You'll need to bring food for your stay, wood for the fire or firepit, and suitable outdoor kit such as waterproofs and sturdy footwear.
Yes — every cabin runs on solar power, with hot water for showers.
There's a small amount of signal at each cabin, though it varies depending on your network.
No — our cabins are genuinely off-grid and run on solar, so there's no WiFi. You'll usually get some phone signal depending on your network, and we leave OS maps in each cabin in case you'd like them.
Absolutely — the wood burner keeps each cabin cosy, and there's something special about a crisp winter walk followed by an evening by the fire. Winter is a favourite time to visit for many of our guests.
Every location has country pubs and farm shops within a couple of miles, and we send a pre-arrival guide with our favourite walks, pubs and local recommendations. A few highlights: Canterbury — The Duck Inn and the North Downs Way; Cotswolds — Dunkertons Cider Taproom and the Cotswolds Way; Dorset — the Cerne Abbas Giant and the Jurassic Coast; East Sussex — Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters; South Downs — the South Downs Way and Petersfield market town.
It depends what you're after. For hillside views: Miraz, Cornelius or Rabadash (Cotswolds). For total seclusion in woodland: Edmund, Bree, Tirian or Aravis (Cotswolds). For direct footpath access and open fields: Lucy (Canterbury). For valley views and spectacular sunsets: Susan (Canterbury). For history and coastal walks: Aslan or Tumnus (Dorset). For coastal access to Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters: Reepicheep or Hwin (East Sussex). For the South Downs Way on your doorstep: Caspian or Jadis (South Downs). Still not sure? Message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you choose.
Every cabin is named after a character from The Chronicles of Narnia. It's a small, subtle touch — but it captures the feeling we're going for: stepping away from everyday life into somewhere a little more magical.
